Jewellery care

Our jewellery is made to last but can be very delicate. Please take care while in possession of the jewellery. Most jewels are made from Sterling silver or gold and semi-precious or synthetic stones. Please be careful with the gemstones and sculptural gem-carved pieces. If they become cloudy and dark after some time, wash them in water with a soft toothbrush to clean the build-up dirt. Most pieces are created for everyday wear, but there are a few, conceptual pieces from the collection that need extra care.

If the jewellery piece is stone-carved, be careful not to drop them. This can cause breakage.

Whether gold or silver, the metal will naturally scratch or mark throughout time. If the jewellery is engraved, the colour of the enamel and the sharpness of the engraving will slightly change and become a bit darker.

The best way to store your jewellery is in a dry, padded, and dark space. If you have any extra questions about how to take care of your piece please contact us at hello@martinakocianova.com

Warranty

There is a one-year repair warranty on Martina Kocianova products. This covers craftsmanship faults only; the warranty does not cover wear and tear from regular use or loss of an item. To consider a warranty claim, we will need to see the piece in person to verify the claim, as well as receive proof of purchase.

Sustainability Statement

As a brand, we’re always conscious of what and how we produce. Every piece of Martina Kocianova's jewellery is handmade by Martina herself in the London studio. It’s important for us to be transparent with the choices we make around materials, processes, and packaging. Martina Kocianova’s emphasis has always been on creating one-off pieces that will be kept forever, rather than mass-producing pieces with a short shelf-life. Most ofthe materials are sourced locally, if outsourced we work with trusted suppliers. If you want to get more information about the origin of the materials, contact us below.
